Terms of Service

Snake Atlas (serpentseye.io) is a browser game offered free to play. By using it you agree to these terms.

• Fair play. Play using the game as provided. Do not use bots, automation, or third‑party tools, exploit defects, or interfere with other players or with the service.
• “As is”. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, or that scores, accounts, or progress will persist.
• Availability & changes. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, and may suspend or remove access for accounts that disrupt the game or other players.
• Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.
• Ownership. The game and its content are ours or our licensors’; you get a personal, non‑transferable right to play it. Public‑domain source material used for in‑game art is credited where shown.

Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum needed to run the game:

• Guest account — a random device identifier stored in your browser (localStorage) creates an anonymous account for scores and purchases. No name, e‑mail, or password is collected or required.
• Gameplay & connection data — scores, and session/connection data including your IP address, used for matchmaking, server selection, and abuse prevention.
• Purchases — if you buy an item, payment is handled by our payment provider; we never see or store card details. We store only the purchase record and the entitlement it grants, bound to your anonymous account.
• Advertising — the game may show an advertisement between some rounds. Ad providers may process your IP address and user agent to serve and measure ads. Removing ads (where offered) disables ad display.

We do not sell personal data. Data is held on our game servers (located in the EU and other regions for latency) and is deleted when its purpose ends. Clearing your browser storage discards your anonymous account on that device.
